Success Rates
There is little doubt that the Take Stock program is delivering a higher high school graduation and degree attainment rate then their non-Take Stock peers. Monroe County is a leader among the State Take Stock programs, with higher percentages of students both coming to the program attaining degrees.
958 Take Stock in Children (TSIC) Scholars have received scholarships from MCEF since 2001!
middle school scholars:
44% are enrolled in ALGEBRA 1 or GEOMETRY
40% are enrolled in PHYSICAL SCIENCE honors
high school scholars:
69% enrolled in one or more Advanced Placement courses
65% of whom are taking a STEM Advanced Placement course
73% of our TSIC graduates have earned an associate’s degree, a bachelor’s degree, or a career certificate.
